GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- VA Centers around the world want to encourage veterans to take control of their health with their new "whole health" initiative.
Currently, they focus on treating diseases. Now, they want to give vets the chance to personalize their health plans around their mental, and emotional needs.
Officials say because of this, they will start offering things like yoga, acupuncture, and art.
"Walk 2,000 steps before breakfast in the morning, and I was going to do that within thirty days. In thirty days, every day I will do that one particular goal,” says U.S. Army 1965-1967 Patrick Metoyer.
